Apologies, forgot to update the thread, i always report a red button/outage report if there are issues with our environment. though the response is not immediate so I thought I'd put the feelers out.
There was an outage confirmed by MSFT:
After our investigation, we determined that a recent update within a portion of the infrastructure responsible for Business Central environments was misconfigured. We have rolled back this update and are currently gathering additional telemetry to observe the results.
This was resolved after a few hours of downtime.
