Thanks, but I need to know how to create such import templates - not just import them.

    John Ellis,

Happy New Year. Try a Configuration Package. Below are some screen shots of one I always use. I have attached the actual configuration package so you can import.

Now, you can remove the extra fields you are not populating to make the No. of Fields less. I always do. After you have the fields set, use the Export to Excel so you can populate and then import back. REMEMBER to Import the Header first, then Lines.

If you need a sample excel sheet, write back.

    Thanks,

    Steve

    Hello,

You can create a Configuration Package that includes the Production BOM Header and Lines. This can be exported, off the Configuration Package page, to Excel. Each Table (Header and Lines) will be a tab in the spreadsheet.

Do you need a sample of one? Feel free to answer back and I can send a sample one.

    Thanks,

    Steve
