Issue:

We are unable to create Payments directly for Sales Invoices. For our testing, we had to convert a Sales invoice to Posted Sales Invoice before applying payment on it.

Ask:

Is there an API call to directly create Posted Sales Invoice in BC Dynamics so we can create payments for it through Integration?

No. You will need to post the open sales invoice that you create. Posting the invoice via API is achievable. Logic Apps BC connector has a posting action available.
