NO_LOT in Inventory?

Posted on by 260

I can't find any documentation on when Solomon uses "NO_LOT"

Client's system seems to be shipping from "No_LOT" even though there is stock to ship from an items.  All the other orders find the lot number just fine, but this one order did not... what did they do wrong?  (this is all automated and the batches of sales have never contained the lot number, so far as I know)

It's every item in the order, and yes, there are lotsert records.

I'm sure it's someithing in the input (these are being created from an outside file) but I can't see anything different.  Just wanted to know what might make it do the "No_Lot" thing.

I think it's sort of like the 000000 account in GL... if it gets messed up, it just posts to that.

Is it just one item on the order, or every item on the order? Is there a record for the part in LOTSERT where LotSerNbr = 'NO_LOT'?
