How can I customize Dynamics to suit the unique requirements of my organization better?

    That is a very generic question that is a bit hard to give a short answer to in a forum like this.

    But in general you have these options:

    • Through configuration and personalization of the system that can be done without coding,
    • Adopt your business processes to the standard processes of Business Central
    • Use of Power Automate, Power BI and Microsoft 365 that requires no coding or low coding
    • Add 3.party applications to the solution
    • Through customization done in AL code
    • Through integrations
    • Through the use of the Azure eco system

    Hi, as mentioned by Narang, please determine your product first, Dynamics 365 CE, BC, FO are all different development languages and development methods.

    For example,

    BC: AL Language https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/dev-itpro/developer/devenv-programming-in-al

    FO: X++ https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/dev-ref/xpp-language-reference
