solved - Access problem to on-premises Business Central environment

Hello everyone
and thank you in advance for the support.
I'm trying to access my local Business Central (22.0) environment to build a local development environment. Unfortunately, this already fails due to access via the web client - I'm not at VSCode yet.
I try to call up the local address http://localhost:8080/BC220/. I get a login window, but I can't log in with my Windows account or a local account.
Neither the configuration of the credential type "NavUserPassword" nor "Windows" changes this.
The IIS is correctly configured imho.
Browser cashes has been emptied or tested in private mode.
I would be happy to provide more information about my system environment. After several days of internet research and countless tests, I unfortunately can't find a solution. Hence the question at this point.
Best regards
Philipp

    Hello,

I am pretty sure that you need to delete all users before first login into new on prem dev environments.

    Sorry for the late reply,

    Greetings

Maybe a few more details on about your configuration and errors could help.
Is your dev environment set up in a Docker container or a separate BC server? Mutitenant or single tenant? are there any related errors in the Windows event log and IIS logs?

Perhaps uninstalling and reinstalling will solve the problem faster.

    Thanks.

    Hi everyone
Thank you very much for the hints and feedback.
    The environment now works.
It was probably the combination of the network service's lack of authorization as a user for the BC service, a missing user in the BC itself, as there were obviously discrepancies between the accounts of my local PC and the account I typically use to log on to the BC.
Now I have the development environment running locally here and can finally make the desired adjustments to the system. You could say: Pandora's box is open - if it weren't for another box that would be opened today.
    Best regards from southern Germany
