How do I change the Owner of an Email Template in CRM 2013?

I see that the records have an Owner field but I cannot find where to change it.  The form is not editable and there is no "Assign" option in the menu.  I want to do this so I can make email templates only viewable by the Individual but the owner is currently not the user that needs to see it.

Email Template form itself is not customizable. As far as I know, you cannot assign a personal template to someone else or share them with team. However, you can make the personal template available to everyone (Actions menu -> Make template available to organization).

You have to recreate personal templates to the desired individual and remove from the existing owner. Am not sure if there are any creative ways to solve your problem.

Create an on-demand workflow for Email Template entity and add an assign step to a team/user. Or you can achieve this using SDK, I believe.

In CRM on premise 2016 I achieved this by implementing a Dialog process which prompts a user for a User.

The dialog process was for the Email Template entity type and had two steps:

    1. A prompt and response step i called "select owner". Response Type was a Lookup and reference entity was User, reference field Created By.

    2. An Assign Record step which set the user to the "select owner" response.

This meant a personal email template could be assigned to a user without having to provide organisational access.
