Hi all,
I have created a Sales Order, and ran the planning worksheet, however it does not seem to take my order modifiers indicated at my item card into consideration.
My SO details are as follow:
Posting & Order Date 14/5/2021
Planned Delivery & Shipment Date 30/6/2021
My item card order modifier details are as follow:
However, when generating my planning worksheet, it still only tells me to purchase the required quantity of 1.5 rather than the minimum quantity of 3.
I have double checked the purchased UOM is the same as the base UOM.
I hope you'll be able to help, thank you!
Hi!
I got the same thing and realised that the Manufacturing Setup: Component at Location must be filled in which seems logical as all the demand now isn't order tracked.
Maybe that is the problem for you as well?
Hi Marco,
Thank you for the great advice :)!
Hello,
If there are still issues that were not solved via excellents suggestions from the community, feel free to raise it to Microsoft support.
Thanks.
Hi all,
So the Order Multiple works, however the Minimum Order Quantity still does not :(.
Required quantity is 0.77.
When I generate my planning worksheet, it's still showing order quantity of 1 rather than the minimum order quantity of 2.
Hi Ben,
Yes I have Order Tracking Policy set as I was told by my consultant that they faced issues when this was set to No, and thus to prevent this issue I was told to set all as Order Tracking Policy.
Sorry you could clarify the purpose of the Lot Accum. Period and Rescheduling Period and their impact?
Yes, I am using locations and bins, I have them all set up with the SKU for the demand location.
I see you have "Order Tracking Policy" set. Try changing that to None. Unless you are using "Get Action Messages" you do not want the Order Tracking Policy set. The system will still give you visibility into the Order Tracking causing the suggestion.
I also see you do not have a Lot Accum. Period or Rescheduling Period set. The default value is 1D, but you'll probably want to dial those in once you get the suggestion to match your modifiers.
Final thought: Are you using Locations? Does this Item have a SKU for the Location the demand is for? If you use Locations (which you should, even if you just have 1), then you should also use SKU cards when there are multiple Locations.
Yes, my Base UOM and Purchase UOM is the same, both in KG. My Order Multiple was set to 1, I have deleted it and it reset itself to 0. My settings are as follows:
I have also extended the planning worksheet ending date to the 31/7/2021.
However the purchase quantity is still 1.5kg rather than 3kg.
Are your Units of Measure the same on your Base UOM and Purchase UOM? Also, if your Order Multiple is 1, just leave the field blank. If you want the system to order in multiples of 3, set your Order Multiple to 3.
Does this Item have a safety stock value set? Lastly, push your End Date beyond 30/6/2021 to 1/7/2021 see if the suggestion changes.
Hi there,
Yes, my starting date and ending date set is from the 1/5/2021 .. 30/6/2021. My respect planning parameters for... is also turned on.
Hi
When you Calculate Planning worksheet do you have Respect Planning Parameters on?
Also, does your Start and end date covers 14/5/2021 .. 30/6/2021?
Thanks
