Hi All,

It has been couple of weeks Product Configurator is not able to load data in lower enviornments (Dev, Test).

It works well on UAT and Prod. We took a copy of UAT to Dev to ensure that there is no mismatch of the configurations or data,
still it did not help.

Values flow but cannot be validated.

The same model works in higher enviornment
I have the same question (0)

    Hi CU24071301-1,

based on the description, find the following answer:
If the Product Configurator in Dynamics 365 Commerce is not loading in your Dev or Test environments, here are some common troubleshooting steps and potential causes (you can find additional information even in the Microsof Doc's at e.g. Dynamics 365 Commerce troubleshooting and FAQs - Commerce | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn):

    1) Missing or Incorrect Configuration in .env file (ensure that all req. env. variables (e.g. API URLs, Auth. Keys, Tenant IDs...) are correctly set)
    2) JavaScript (.js) Runtime Errors (Open the Browsers (e.g. Microsoft Edge) Developer Console and check for errors)
    3) Backend Services Not Running or Misconfigured (Check services like Commerce Scale Unit (CSU) or Retail Server to be deployed, running and properly connected to the environment)
    4) Missing Extensions or Modules (when extensions are used or the Configurator rely on custom models, ensure they are built and deployed correctly, registered in the module library or included in the page layout, etc...)
    5) Data Sync Issues (Run a full sync from HQ to ensure all product configuration data is available in the channel database; Use the Distribution Schedule in HQ to push relevant data.
    6) Browser or Cache issues (As always, clear browser cache or try in incognito mode)

For a comfortable troubleshooting, look in the Console Logs for 404s or 500s in the network tab; When using Fiddler or Postman for APIs, test API endpoints manually to ensure they return expected data; Use LCS Environment Monitoring, etc...

For a more detailed answer, please provide more detailed information.

    Alexander

*Due to the complex and different possibilities of deploying Dynamics 365 I highly recommend not to setup the application without some expert/partner or support. (For more information contact me under anassl@inno-solutions.info or visit www.inno-solutions.de)
