I'm not sure how my previous coworker used to do it, but if we accidentally made a duplicate part number she was able to go into the system and combine them. How do you do that?

How do we create/layout an excel file so we can validate it into the "item number combiner"? We have over a 100 items to combine and its painful to do 1 at a time.
You can use PSTL tool to combine your item numbers. For your reference, have a look on the below link.

I suppose you are talking about combining two item numbers in the inventory module. If so, that can be done through the professional services tools library.
On the PSTL window, choose the "Item Number Combiner" which is located under Inventory tools. Include the item numbers to be combined accordingly.
