Show Long Date Instead of Short Date Formatting For Date Fields

Hi all,

I have found that date fields in CRM display in a short date format (e.g. 01/01/16). Is there a way to convert this type of date into a long date format (e.g. January 1, 2016)??

I don't believe there is an out of the box way to change the displayed format on forms. You can edit it when pulling the data out (such as a mail merge), but from my research there's no built-in way to do it.

Hi,

Do you mean within the application?

If so, you can go to Settings>Administration>System Settings. Go to the Formats tab:

If you click on customize you will see more settings in there, the one you need is the Date tab.

There is No supported way for Showing Long Date format in MSCRM Form. This is One Kind of Limitation in CRM.

You can achieve somehow near to that format is by changing personal setting for the user. T
