    Hi Hedi,

Why not use only the lookup field to Campaign for this, and be sure the search fields include the Campaign Code field (is default).

So you can enter the code in the lookup field and it will find the Campaign record.

    hallo stefan,

It is not the perfect way

example : u have a campain with the code 123 and another with the code 1234 and another with code 12345

and u need the name of the campaign wit the code 123. if u give the code 123 in the lookup u will see the 3 name of compaign with the code (123,1234,12345) .

    thanx for your opinion

If my understanding is correct you want to display campaign code in the contact entity on select of campaign lookup. If this is your requirement , I would not recommend to create new field CampainCode  in the contact entity as creating any additional field you need to do lot of additional task to sync the data with campaign entity. Let say in future you change the campaign code or name  , in that case you need to update also the new field.

So  better to  create quick view form in campaign entity with campaign code   and  add the quick view form in the contact entity. Hope this make sense  -

    Hallo Hedi,

You need javascript for this or the Auto Complete custom control.
