Simple Warehouse - Update Reservation on Sales Order

Hi All - 

We have simple warehouse setup and if we add another batch for an item I'm not sure of a way to trigger the sales orders to update to see the new quantity and re-reserve. I know we could modify something on the sales order line, but looking for something similar to Release to Warehouse on the Advanced Warehouse.

    Hi Jake Milford,

    As you said, reaching this requires using the Automatic release of sales orders job to Reserve and Release orders, unless doing a customization.

    So you have reserved batch A on SO line and after added batch B into stock. Now you want the system to update existing reservation from A to B, is this correct? Seems like a customization to me.
