New account number not displaying properly after CRG Changer process

We have a massive account structure change that we are currently working on.  Our current account structure is 3-3-1-2-4-4-4-4-4 and the new structure will be 4-4-5-8-7-4-4-4-4-4.  We first ran CRG Reformatter since the new structure is longer than we allowed for in our initial installation.  In the test company I did the account format setup for the new structure.  We are using CRG Changer (v 16.00.7) to change the account numbers.  I imported a file of old-new account numbers, validated with no errors, marked the changes, assigned the changes to batches, selected a batch to process and processed it.  I ran Check Links on Financial Account Master, Financials Setup and General Ledger Setup.  We have not yet modified any reports/windows to display the longer account number.  After running the Changer process the list of changed accounts was displaying all digits within the space available.  Yet when we do a summary inquiry or a SmartList segments 3, 4 and 5 will not display all digits.  Segment 3 if I key in 12345 only 123 will display.  Segment 4 is only displaying 3 digits and segment 5 5 digits.  GP is just showing extra white space between the dashes for those segments.  Also if you check Account Segment Setup for segments 3-5 the full segment of the new numbers added is not there.  Did we miss a step in the process?
