Version when copying Sandbox from Production

Hi,

If I copy production environment which currently is at 19.5.36567.36634 to a new sandbox, will it let me create it at the same version or will it force me to version 20.0.37253.38055. I need the sandbox to be at the same version as production in order to test a modification but previously when I have refreshed sandbox, it only gave me option to select the latest release.

Hi

I just Copy the production to Sandbox and I can confirm my Sandbox version match Production. it even did not give me an option to select the different version. This could be because 20 is on hold.

Does your screen different then below when you copy production?

Usually you get to select the version if create a new sandbox and not copy production.
