Under M365B978092.onmicrosoft.com Azure Directory we invited Azure External User and assigned  with Business Central Cloud license.

The user's id was ChristieC@M365x378965.OnMicrosoft.com

After invited, the id appears as follow

The user  ChristieC_M365x378965.OnMicrosoft.com#EXT#@M365B978092.onmicrosoft.com

To access Business Central Cloud - we provided the user the following URL

https://businesscentral.dynamics.com/d31c17b3-972d-406f-9806-38dd1cbcd0cd/Production

The user login with ChristieC@M365x378965.OnMicrosoft.com  and it worked.

The challenge we have are

1. Business Central Mobile Apps (google pllay store) . it fails to let ChristieC@M365x378965.OnMicrosoft.com  access to BCC.

2. In i setup Business Inbox in Outlook. That only appear a menu for users under M365B978092.onmicrosoft.com

This Azure External User ChristieC@M365x378965.OnMicrosoft.com outlook does not show the BC Add-in  in outlook.

Users of mobile apps are manager who need to access BC and approve the documents.

Hope someone could help to answer.

Please do have a look here of what an external can do and what he cannot do in D365 BC:

    go.microsoft.com/.../

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I have exactly the same problem.

    Did you solved it ?

I have a a guest User in my AAD, I have assign a business central License ( Essential ),

The login sign in with success with the GuestUsername@Guestuserdomaine.com

But he have to go to the URL

    businesscentral.dynamics.com/.../

    AND NOT

businesscentral.dynamics.com/ => his tenant will be used

the GuestUser already have a M365 tenant on his own domain.

But, will have Business Central on my domain and make Full user action ( so the Business Central license paid for him ).

Have to have his Outlook configured with my Business Central Instance, but when trying to configure with the assisted setup the Outlook Add-In,  don't work, neither with his work mail

GuestUsername@Guestuserdomaine.com : error => Outlook Add in well installed,  but trying to connect to Business Central Tenant of Guestuserdomaine.com instead of mydomain.com, so connection error.

, nor with GuestUsername@Guestuserdomaine.com#EXT#mydomain.com : error => Username or password error.

the mail GuestUsername@Guestuserdomaine.com#EXT#mydomain.com is used by default in the Assisted setup, I have changed it to GuestUsername@Guestuserdomaine.com.

I have the same trouble with Power Automate, Power Bi, etc... to link the guest user in my tenant on his Power Plateform connection.

for example : his Power automate license on his tenant, and get data from my BC tenant through the guest user configuration.

AS well, for the Mobile App, I tried to create a link as described here

    docs.microsoft.com/.../devenv-link-to-mobile-app:

    ms-businesscentral://businesscentral.dynamics.com/[mytenant ID]/production_env_name

On a Samsung ( Android ) Cell phone. And the link is not linked to the app, nothing happen when opening with edge or chrome or Mozilla on the cellphone. Just starting a google search.....

But work well on a W10 laptop with BC app installed

    It's a global problem :

Use you O365 tool ( Outlook, POWER BI,Power automate, etc...), but with a BC not in your tenant, on a tenant you've been invited and assigned Full User License.

If you use BC mobile app go to the Sign-in-options and choose the sing in to an organization then put your BC local domain name, then type your guest user name and password.

Having the same issue. Our comapny is part of a larger group, and we use BC from the groups tenant successfully on desktop. Our management team has asked us to allow them to use the moble app, as they are often traveling and being able to approve a PO for example on the go from your device is useful.
Whenever we try to login to our accounts on BC app, its pointin us to our tenant. I have even tried the URL on mobile browser, I get signed in but directed back to the BC app and the app just tells me I dont have a license.
