    Hi Krishna,

Virtual Entities in CRM are still a little finicky to work with. The thing that stands out for me is the blog does not explain that certain fields need to be set as Business Required. When looking at the Metadata for the Course entity from the OData service, any field set with Nullable="false" needs to be a required field. This means that the CourseId, CourseClusterId, and CreditHours will need to be set as Required in CRM. I would check on those to make sure they are set appropriately. Once modified and published, you may need to sign out and back in so the service in CRM isn't cached (clicking "Try Again" may take a minute to actually refresh).

    Hope this helps!

    Hi Matt,

    Thanks for your suggestion!

    I tried this URL: www.trellispoint.com/dynamics-365-for-sales-data-integration-with-virtual-entities

URL is giving me proper results.

Now in my scenario i have a URL which is coming from AX side , when we hit the URL in the browser it wont show any result and it will ask me to enter the instance credentials such as user name and password ,once i enter those credential details it will hit that URL and get the response, for the same i want to create a Virtual entity,

can you please suggest me in the virtual entity after pasting that URL in CRM where and how do we pass the credentials for the instance which its asking.

    Regards,

    Krishna.
