Confirming shipment in inbound load with TMS route

Hi All,

I have a strange problem with confirming shipment in load direction inbound I'm getting a message
pastedimage1673445475566v1.png

My scenario is:

1. Create purchase to WMS warehouse order with product turned on warehouse management processes.

2. Adding line to new load by load planning workbench.

3. Next I am using rate route workbench-> route with rate-> assign route (I also try to use manual rating).

4. Confirm inbound shipment

I can only confirm load only when I don't have any route assigned to load or I use shipping carrier with the blank setting "Activate carrier rating". In that way, my route has the status "none" and I don't have any Miscellaneous charges on PO line. Is it rating profiles in carrier setting necessary to use a simple route with rate? I also try to use shipping carrier with rating profile and I got the same issue.

    Hi dyncon365,

The load or shipment is currently in a state where shipment confirmation fails. Before you can confirm the shipment, at least some work must exist for the load, and all that work must have a status of Closed or Canceled.

    Hi Judy,

Are you sure? It's inbound load not outbound. Before I always confirmed shipment from load before receiving process and load has status shipped.

"When the vendor dispatches the load, the logistics coordinator at the receiving warehouse confirms the load shipment. "

I also encountered this error message during an outbound load confirmation. As we utilize TMS without WMS, my specific case may be different, but this solution may be helpful.

After receiving the error message, I discovered that one of the route segments was not properly associated with a load. Specifically, the final segment had zero loads configured.

The solution was to properly configure my load so that its destination matched the route's final segment. By doing this, the last segment now had a load, and I was able to successfully confirm the outbound shipment.
