Prevent multiple queue items for the same activity

Hi.

Is there any way to prevent that multiple queue items are being created for the same activity.

I currently face the problem that customers send an email to multiple email adresses, which are all assigned to a different queue. Which then ends up in 2-3 queue items for one email message.

It would be great, if I could somehow detect this and reduce to one queue item in this case, to prevent emails being answered multiple times by different advisors.

    I have workflows, which route e-mails to other Queues, by creating a new Queue item pointing to the previous one ...

    This works fine, if for an E-Mail only one Queue item exists, because then CRM takes care of cleaning up the old Queue item. While this doesn't seem to work if more than one Queue item already exists for an E-Mail ...
