When creating a new bank reconciliation entry, the card takes on the last statement number in the bank account card (under Posting) and increments the number by 1. This is a read-only field that can't be modified by the user when you go to create a new reconciliation. If you edit the bank account reconciliations in excel, you can actually change the statement numbers even though that field is read-only.
Is there a way to make that field editable on the account reconciliation card itself?
Hello Dom!,
I guess you will need a little customization to make the "Statement No." field editable in Table 273 - Bank. Acc. Reconciliation.
In the standard is forced to be Editable = No.
If you work with NAV - Just open Table 273 - select field 2 - Statement No. and change the Property Editable = No, to Editable = Yes and save it.
If you work with BC, you will need to create a little extension, I guess, to perform this change.
I hope it helps.
