FRx: Run-Time Error 91 Object Variable or With Block Variable Not Set

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello:

Upon running a report in FRx, the end user is getting the following error:

Run-Time Error 91 Object Variable or With Block Variable Not Set...This error occurred while populating the frl_entity table in the GLX database.

At first, they were getting this error when trying to update a row in the report's reporting tree.  I helped them get past this by copying the tree's data into Excel and copying into the tree again.

Now, instead of getting this error in the tree, they get this error when running the report containing the tree.

I read from another Community posting that running Server-Based Indexing scripts could resolve this.  But, wouldn't running those scripts affect all GP company databases and rick adversely affecting databases other than the one pertaining to this report?

Otherwise, what is the remedy?

Thanks!

John

I eliminated this error by removing a bogus record from the GL40200 table of the new company's database.

This record had a segment ID of 0 but, more importantly, it had the column names within its fields.  So, I knew that it was not a good record.

    Thank you, for the help!

    Hi Mariano:

Just now, I ran the server-based index scripts.  Doing so caused no issues, but the error remains.

I read through the article that you sent.  I don't know how to use the information given, however, as it's referencing an FRL database.  I take that to mean a database in SQL, unless it's referring to some sort of "homegrown" FRx database.  I know that FRx has some dependency on at least one Access database, for example.

Do you have any thoughts on that article?

Otherwise, I'm out of ideas, short of running a delete statement on GL00105 and GL40200 followed by check links on Account Master.

    Thanks!

Have you tried the suggestions in KB Article 966276?
