Hello,

Whenever we use SmartList one of the column "TRX Date" is defaulting to between 9/2/2013 and 9/29/2013 as per below screenshot. I am not sure where these values are coming from. Based on my research there is a way to edit SmartList Options to add or remove columns to default view by navigating to SmartList Options window in Administration/Setup but i am not sure where to change default values of specific

column. Please help me to how to fix this. Thanks in advance.

If you have to change date range this is the place from where you can change date range, just focus the date fields and change the date.

If you want to change the way you want to filter dates you can select filter drop down and change accordingly like Trx Date started with etc.

If you completely remove date filter just focus column name field and delete the value and tab out it will remove the whole selection.

There is no setup window for setting up default values of this search window.

Hi Almas Mahfooz , thanks for your response but my question is why is the date filter defaulting to 9/2/2013 and 9/29/2013 dates ? Why smartlist remember these specific dates all the time ? that's what i don't understand. Hopefully there is a way to change these default date values.

These are not default dates, somebody save this filter and since now you want to change/remove you can do both from same window. Read my first post again.

    Hello,

you can't change GP Smartlist default columns if you don't have Smartlist Builder.

You can change columns or filters as you wish then add to Favorites to your user ID to have your own report.

    Hi,

somebody save as Favorites in System, Company or User Class your default dates in this Smartlist Report that you use.

You can change those dates (or other data you need) then save as Favorite for your User ID to have your own report

If you want to change the date to something else, type in the date range you wish. Then click on OK. Go to Favorites and then click on Modify. Now you just changed your date range to the values you entered. This somewhat becomes the default.

If you want to completely remove TRX Date column, remove it on the Column Name, then click OK. Go to Favorites and then click on Modify.

Every time you want to make a change to a Smartlist and keep that change, you need to go to Favorites and then Modify after making the change.
