Hi Experts,

I am getting this error when I'm trying to connect to CRM online organization using the plugin registration. I am using CRM SDK 2016 v 8.1. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Hi LMP, I am able to connect using the same version that you have mentioned. Are you able to access Discovery service?

    DId you try earlier versions of Plugin Registration tools like CRM 2015?

    Hi Raz,

    Yes I am able to access the Discovery service of the CRM and I also tried connecting to CRM using the earlier version of Plugin Registration and still get the same error.

    I am running the Plugin Registration inside my VM, when i try to connect outside VM I am able to connect. So I think there is something on the system that is preventing the Plugin Registration to connect to the CRM. The error displays after i click connect.

    i think due to some firewall restrictions you are not able to connect, please check that

       Did you ever figure out what the problem was. I have the same issue and I've been unable to find a working solution

    Hi,

    Try deleting the contents of the below folder.  C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\PluginRegistration

    Below thread discusses the same issue and above solution has worked.
