Fixed Asset that was disposed still shows on Asset list

Hi,
We have disposed of several assets but they still show on the asset list. How do we get them off this list since we don't own them any more?

    That's by design. The system is not going to delete it so you still have all historical information. You can do two things:
     
    1. On the Fixed Asset Card, set it as Inactive. Inactive fixed assets do not appear on any system reports. You can also add a filter to the fixed asset page to view only fixed assets that are not inactive. 
     
    2. You can also change the fixed asset number to include Z or ZZ or ZZZ or a variation of that, so it sits at the bottom of the Fixed Asset List.

    That's interesting--by design. Makes reporting challenging though. We don't want any info from assets we no longer own to show on reports. I guess we'll look for filters for either the Asset ID or the Inactive checkbox.
