What is Transfer order and transfer Journal?

Hello everyone,

Need a small help,

Can you please explain the transfer Order and transfer journal. 

the whole step by step of the both processes Please.

(My understanding: transfer order, the Goods transfer one location to another Physically.

Where as in transfer journal we are create the journal but not physically moving goods)   Is my understating correct? please let  me know.

If you have any blog link or video link it will be very much helpful for me.  thanks in advance in for your time.

    Hi,

    The main difference is ;

    The journal is directly moving the goods without any staging. The order is intended to have a transit time.

    Usually, but not always , Transfer Orders are used to move stock from different sites where there is the need to generate paperwork and track stock in-transit.

    Transfer journals are used more for internal transfers however with the use of advanced warehousing and the movements via Warehousing APP customers would be using more this approach then using the UI.
