Mass Approve Activate BOMs

Hello everyone,
I need to mass approve/active disapprove/disactivate Bom headers and versions using the Bill of materials headers and versions V3 entity and I get this error Is there a way to fix it?
or an alternative to do the job

    Hi!
    What is this "Bill of materials headers and versions V3 "?
    I have never heard of this entity and have not found any mention of it in the standard SCM documentation.

    Could you share the Excel file you’re using for the import? Or perhaps a screenshot of the data in Excel?

    Hello,
    I filtered on the BOMID : 000035 (demo usmf environement),
    exported the file,
    set ISACTIVE, ISAPPROVED to No then imported again.

    here's the file

    I've done a few tests... Could you try again using the entity 'Bill of Materials Version V4'?

    Hello Laurens,

    Thank you for your response.

    I tried using the entity 'Bill of Materials Version V4' and the result is as follows.
    If I set ISAPPROVED and ISACTIVE to No, It will create another Bom version Line not updating the current one because the ISACTIVE flag is part of the Entity Key thus modifying it will result in creating a new record.
    If I only set only the ISAPPROVED to No. It will generate the following error:
    Results. Version is not approved and thus cannot be activated
    Results. validateWrite failed on data source 'BOMVersion (BOMVersion)'


    PS: Disapproving Bills of material headers is successful with this entity: Bill of materials headers
    I only still have to disapprove the Versions
    PSS: I can also change the To Date of the bom version using 'Bill of Materials Version V4'

    if we wanted to mass update of active to No, then how can we do that. its not working.

    Hi,

    Please check these parameters if they are set to false if you want to import something

     

     

    regarding the other error messages about number seq. You have to set it to manual

    Hi @Adis ,

    Thanks for sharing detailed screenshots.

    I have already the same steps did but still didnt work, instead it is creating new BOM id, I wanted to remove BOM to Approval - NO or deactivate. We have ECM enabled too.

    Even i tried with changing to date in version level it doesnt allow me to do so.

    Error below;

    Hi,

    Could you explain whats the main purpose of your question? Why you need to approve/active disapprove/disactivate Bom headers and versions?

    I got it solved in 2 steps with Excel-Addin. Should also work in Data management with the entities below.

     

    What did work, is to deactivate the BOM header with the following entity.

     

    This is how it looks in the application. The BOM is deactivated, but the BOM Version is still active and approved

     

    Now you need to deactivate the BOM Version by using the following entity.

     

    Now the BOM Version is also not appoved\active

     

     

    Sidenote

    The BOM Entity V3 doesnt work because it seems it is deleting and creating the BOMs itself. That cant work while BOM Versions exist. I guess its either badly implemented or it is meant to use it without any BOM Versions

     

    If you still continue, the following errors occur.
