Asset management, close a maintenance worker

Hello Community, 
we have implemented asset management of Dynamics 365 supply chain management. 
I want to know if it's possible to close the maintenance request related to the work order when I close the work order. 
I work order closed means that's finished.

    Yes it's possible from the work order lifecycle state as shown in this figure below
     
    So you can define here the lifecycle state of the maintenance request = Finished.

    You must also be sure that the lifecycle state of your maintenance request does not allow to create a work order when it's finiched 
    It must be = No
