Hi,
I was able to use a team member licensed user account to connect to our dynamics instance using XRMtoolbox, access the contacts entity and gain access to all the contacts
Could you please advise how I can restrict users to access Dynamics entities using tools like xrmtoolbox?

Sorry for the late reply as most Microsoft Employees are mainly focused on supporting Application Forum. I made the following descripton which could be for your reference.
1. Xrmtoolbox respects the logged in users CRM security roles when we are using XRM Toolbox to perform Dynamics 365 Administration. It sync user's security role on entity read & write and other operation permissions in CRM. So could you share more details about your concern on Xrmtoolbox?
2. Currently Xrmtoolbox works as independent 3rd Party tool which is out of Microsoft control without option to set user access permission.
