I have the following issue, and require your guidance:
Our client wants to use the consignment functionality in F&O for a raw material that they receive from a vendor (on consignment). We are using advanced warehousing. The product should be batch tracked. I have created a tracking dimension group with both batch and owner dimensions set to Active.
Current released product setups:
Item model group: STD
Storage dimension: WMS
Tracking dimension: BatchOwner
ResevationHierarchy: BatchFlex (All dimensions checked) (failing at this step)
From my testing, it seems that I am unable to correctly setup a released product because when I select a Reservation hierarchy = BatchFlex (which is required when you have WMS enabled), I receive the following error:
"The settings for the reservation hierarchy do not match the settings for the dimension groups that are assigned to the item. Make sure that the inventory dimensions for the reservation hierarchy are physically tracked for the dimension groups."
Has anyone had the above type of situation and if yes, how did you approach the configuration?
