When i Apply action from Action Messages form, i am getting below error "Purchase ## cannot be updated because change management is enabled."

i know its because i have change Management activated, we need to have Change management activated but still want to update any Postpone or Advance message without manually opening PO and updating date and sending for re approval.

Hi Yashpal,

If these POs are generated from planned POs, these advance/postpone action has been applied.

System doesn't allow to apply action to PO with workflow, you need to manually change the date.

Thank You Matt,

that's what my assessment is, this is really a BAD design my Microsoft . I am surprised that no one else in Manufacturing industry and using MRP from D365 has no issue .this makes Action Message screen pretty much Handicap and Manual .
