Yes but with the premium license only. All users will need that license. You can’t mix with essential license. In terms of functionality the main points are shown here: docs.microsoft.com/.../production-manage-manufacturing

This blog is good for inside info on things not covered in good enough detail on the previous link: www.olofsimren.com/.../

Sounds like you need consultancy not a forum answer. I would look at working with a Microsoft partner to determine what fits best for the company.

There is no clear cut answer for this. The answer will be depending on the complexity of the requirements. BC may or may not be able to cater the requirements. Depending on how big are the gaps, you can decide on customization or choosing a different ERP, such as D365 Finance and Operations. Standard BC is not really designed for process manufacturing.

That's why it is best to consult a consultant first. In saying that, we did have the opportunity to implement NAV/BC in process manufacturing. Some customization are needed though.

Good Morning Afazal. Business Central is perfectly capable of handling manufacturing and I have experience of implementing it in a complex chemical environment, taking into account complex chemical formulas, batch numbers etc.

You need to choose a partner that has experience in that area. What area are you in?
