Restricting Duplicate Records from Portals Online

I am looking for a solution to restrict duplicate records that are being created from Dynamics 365 Portals online.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your query.

    You can try the following approaches:

    • Alternative Keys: define an alternative key to stop duplicates.

    • Plugin: write a plugin to do duplicate validation and throw InavalidOperationException to stop records from creating.
