My company has just migrated from rediff mail server to netcore mail server .For this we have updated account settings of outlook and after that it is working fine but when we updated the details in SMTP MAIL SETUP page of navision 2016 and tried sending a test mail then the below error is generated :-

when we send test mail to same mail id as user id then no error message is generated and message is delivered but when we try to send test mail to any other email id other than user id above error is generated.

it tried searching google but no luck found.

please assist me on this .

Hello,

SMTP mail code 5.7.1 does mean unable to relay.

Mail relay is the process of transferring an email from one server to another for delivery. For example, if you work for Company A and send an email to someone at Company B, you connect to your company's SMTP server which then relays your email to the server owned by Company B

That said, the issue is with the netcore mail server.
