System.ServiceModel.CommunicationObjectFaultedException importing CRM records

Hello,

We have an import job bringing in new / updates for CRM contacts via an Excel source.  This has been running in stable mode for years but recently we have seen errors like those below.  I could run the same import job/source straight away and these errors would not recur. Nothing we are aware of has changed with the source or environment.

Would anyone have any advice on the specific errors or be able to advise where I can look up the specific "Reference number for administrators or support:" - e.g.  #E89CF47A - for a more readable explanation.

ERROR : 23/11/2017 04:51:17-System.ServiceModel.CommunicationObjectFaultedException: Microsoft Dynamics CRM has experienced an error. Reference number for administrators or support: #E89CF47A
ERROR : 23/11/2017 04:51:17-System.ServiceModel.CommunicationObjectFaultedException: Microsoft Dynamics CRM has experienced an error. Reference number for administrators or support: #2EA5E99B

Many thanks,

- Seamus

Thanks Mansoor  - no change. It failed last night and I have just ran it (successfully) with the same credentials - some days it errors out like this and some days it works fine.

    Hi Seamus,

it seems an sdk update issue.

Check your CRM version and checkup you SDK version, maybe you need to update it.

    Please, let me know.

Hi Francesco,  - thanks that is a good suggestion. The sdk version probably has not changed in 3 or 4 years (CRM 2013 on premise). I did not develop the original import code/exe but have been maintaining and updating it. When you say update the SDK do you just mean open the solution in Visual Studio and update any SDK-related dlls to the new versions I have just downloaded? Thanks again!

    Hi Seamus ,

you need to replace sdk over all customized code (plugins, external job, etc.) and redeploy all assemblies.

Please let me know if you solve.

Sadly, - still having this issue.

Would anyone have any advice on the specific errors or be able to advise where I can look up the specific "Reference number for administrators or support:" - e.g.  #E89CF47A - for a more readable explanation.  Thanks.

    Hi Sadly,

i suggest you to open a ticket to Microsoft, to understand why.

It is difficult, without any other detail to go further.

Please let me know about any progression.
