Posting of Sales Orders take very long

Good day,

A client of my recently went live and we are experiencing very slow postings of sales orders, planning worksheet, etc.

On our trial/demo database, posting of sales documents was a breeze. However, I'm facing with this situation whereby after i post my sales order, be it shipping or shipping & invoice, there is always this adjustment of entries that take forever.

    ZJ,

    On the Inventory Setup, do you have Automatic Cost Posting = TRUE? This setting generates the Adjusting Value Entries process during Sales document posting. You can set this to FALSE and setup a Job Queue to run the Adjust Cost/Item Entries nightly and Post to GL.

    Zj,

    Change your automatic cost adjustment to "Day" and it might improve the performace instead of keeping it as "Always". Automatic cost posting can be YES.
