A browser close and re-open requires a login in IE

Hi all,

This problem is annoying me and all of my users.  We've got a fairly long "TokenLifetime" set on our ADFS, so we can all keep our browsers open and remain logged into Dynamics CRM all day without a timeout.

When I'm working in Chrome, Dynamics CRM works great and closing and reopening the browser will keep my session open.  However, in IE, a quick close and re-open triggers the login screen again.

I've verified that the site allows cookie in IE, that the cookies are not being deleted on close, and can see the session cookie itself in the temp internet files, get updated.  

Anybody have any ideas?

    I think the cookies are disabled in your IE. For information on enabling cookies please refer to the link I am copying below.

    www.timeanddate.com/.../cookiesie.html

    Another suggestion is to do the following. It may work for you:

    At the top of the page, go to Tools/Internet Options/Content/ Auto Complete. That should do it.

    Cookies were enabled and the domain was added to my list of allowed sites.  Still having the same problem.

    Good suggestion!  I'll do this as a stop-gap measure, but this doesn't solve the root problem.

    There are two things

    "TokenLifetime" -- >Will help for a long running open session

    When I'm working in Chrome, Dynamics CRM works great and closing and reopening the browser will keep my session open.  However, in IE, a quick close and re-open triggers the login screen again- ->if you close the IE windows and re-open you will get prompt for authentication if you are accesing the CRM uisng the IFD URL.
