Bank statement opening and ending balance error

Hi All - I am facing an issue after posting my bank reconciliation statement it's automatically taking some wrong amount. Now I am on 65 number statement since the last two statements having the issue. attached the screenshot. Please need your help. Thanks

This is a system bug & Microsoft released a patch for this with BC cloud W 18.5 (September 2021) . Try after updating to BC cloud 18.5

Hello everyone,

We have a similar problem. Since about the second half of July, the system has been incorrectly updating the amount in "Balance Last Statement" field for the next generated "Statement No." It looks like something broke after the updates. I assume the problem should be fixed by Microsoft, if this has been reported to support.

No, the bug is still there and the last balance amount continues to be posted wrongly. You either have to wait for MS to fix it in the coming updates (not sure when), or your partner has to put in a fix.

Just a side note - our clients require the wrong amounts in the statement records to be corrected due to audit requirements. Our developer had to write a processing report to fix the wrong amount on the statement records because there are simply too many statements to undo and redo by the time MS fixes it. You may need to do that too if there's any audit concern.

Hi, not sure if you have found a solution to this but just so that you know -- all our clients are seeing the same issue, i.e. the Balance Last Statement field in the Bank Acc. Statement is incorrect. It seems to be copying from the previous record since the date the wave1 update was rolled out to our clients. I think it is a bug in the latest version release.

May be your bank account BANKUNITED OPERATING has a balance of 9091.61 that is why system is picking it as balance last statement.
