Job Prices with using Unit Cost Factor

Hi,

The Unit Cost Margin setup in the Job prices is not working.

I had setup a  Job Price for an item with Unit Cost Margin of 1.2. When I select this item in the Job Planning Line, the system initially default the Unit Cost of $150 and correctly default Unit Price of $180. When I start to enter a Quantity of 1, it then set the Unit Price to 0 which is not correct. Shouldn't the Unit Price remain as $180. Is this a bug in the system ?

Appreciate any advise.

Thanks,

Jan

Thanks Stefano for your response. I am not a technical person so I have no access to the Design mode.  I just tested with a Resource Code and the expected Unit Cost setup is working. However when I tested with Type - Item (setup as Non-Inventory), the system will set the Unit Price to zero.

When you validate the quantity, a function that updates all the Amounts is called (UpdateAllAmounts function if I remember the name). I don't have a code with me right now but you should check this calculation if it consider the unit cost margin or not.
