Link a Reporting Services report to gp report.

Hi.

 

I want to customize the edit payable check report to a new one made in reporting services, so when the user click print appears the one made in reporting services. It is possible?

If posible, there is a model from this report?

    You may want to take a look at Rockton Software's Dynamics Report Manager tool:

    www.rocktonsoftware.com/.../product.aspx

    The tool allows you to trigger report processing from several areas in GP (including standard report printing) and can call reports created in Crystal Reports and SRS.

    I'm not sure of another way to intercept GP's printing process other than this, hopefully a more dev-centric person may have an alternative.

    Mike is right, there are already products available that do this, to recreate it as a customization may be more costly and not as functional, especially if you are not routinely doing this kind of development.  

    My company makes a product called GP Reports Viewer that can replace any GP report with an SRS or Crystal report: www.flex-solutions.com/gpreports.html.
