Bank Transaction Posting is Slow in GP 2013

I have a customer that is using GP 2013 and they said when they were using GP 2010 Bank Transactions posted within seconds but it is now running slow on GP 2013. They said it can take up to 2 minutes and it looks like it is going thru all previous transactions when posting. What could cause this?

    Hi,

    Please try whether user preference window holding lot of records on auto complete.  You can go to the following window to check it.

    Home >> User Preferences >> AutoComplete button

    It is happening in all of the companies and it looks like the issue is with the CM20400. It keeps posting the same line over and over for each CMDNUMWK. They are on GP2013 R2. Did something change in the system that would cause this?

    SELECT TOP 25 CMDNUMWK,VOIDED,DSTSQNUM,ACTINDX,DEBITAMT,CRDTAMNT,DistRef,GLPOSTDT,ORCRDAMT,ORDBTAMT,DEX_ROW_ID FROM GDS.dbo.CM20400 WHERE (CMDNUMWK = 507102.00000 AND VOIDED = 0 AND DSTSQNUM < 1 OR CMDNUMWK = 507102.00000 AND VOIDED < 0 OR CMDNUMWK < 507102.00000) ORDER BY CMDNUMWK DESC ,VOIDED DESC ,DSTSQNUM DESC

    Nothing changed on the GP 2013 R2.

    Is there any customization available on Bank Transactions?

    Are you using desktop client? or citrix client? or web client?

    Run the below query against company database.

    SELECT * FROM PJOURNAL

    If this query returned any rows, please remove all the records from that table. It will increase the speed of your posting process.

    DELETE PJOURNAL

    Also ask all the users to log off GP from all companies and run the below queries to clear all the user sessions.

    DELETE DYNAMICS..ACTIVITY

    DELETE DYNAMICS..SY00800

    DELETE DYNAMICS..SY00801

    DELETE TEMPDB..DEX_LOCK

    DELETE TEMPDB..DEX_SESSION
