How to share automatically updated file with Item_card overview.

We would like to share an automatically updated file/excel with our basic details of item_card (product number, description, inventory) to our customers.

File should be protected just for viewing.
What would be the best solution?

I have the same question (0)

Automatically after a change to the item? I would look at power automate for this. You can use the BC connector to action on change to the item. The results could then passed to an excel file or just an email in a HTML table. The protection aspect I’m unsure about. Perhaps you can save the excel file to OneDrive and then convert it to a pdf

Yes after a change it should be updated. Are there existing templates to power automate this or modifying it?

What BC connector would the the best to work with?

I see MS Sharepoint- , Dataverse-, service connection setup.

No template for this scenario. Mostly approvals that have templates. Create one from blank and then go for something like below but with your values

add another step after this like Excel or email and you will be able to choose from the fields of the item table for the item that has just changed. Note this will be for all changes that make the trigger occur.

    We are getting closer!

Location will be on sharepoint. File will renamed with "time"

How can I edit which fields of items will be visible? And can put a filter on it like show only inventory >1

If you’re taking the fields from BC and adding them to a new file it is up to you which fields are visible. If you need more fields than what the BC connector displays you may want a custom api page. In terms of filtering do you mean the item that is handled and then added to the file or the file itself? For filtering the item that is handled use a “condition” control and use a filter with the inventory field from the BC connector
