eCommerce: Automate Order Templates

Posted on by 100

In B2B eCommerce, a user can create an order template, which I understand can be used as a list of frequently purchased products. Users can easily go to their account, Add order template to the bag and checkout. Is there any way to automate the order template and set it to a frequency of every month? Looking for standard out of the box solutions.

Looking to see if anyone else has done this in the past. Thanks!

You'd only be able to achieve that with customisation(s) and maybe utilising Microsoft PowerApps/Flow or similar.

    Hello,

Good point for B2B E-Commerce. And Nice feature. Just as a reminder, Microsoft have pushed B2B mode recently, so new features will still show up and enhanced in the recent future.

So you are talking about this one : learn.microsoft.com/.../quick-bulk-orders

From what you want to achieve, the only way for me, you can set up this kind of type of template assigned to each customer B2B you like (for that I assume a DEV in F&O / D365 HQ), push this kind of informations into the CSU and display it accordingly in e-Commerce via ReactJS. So all the way a DEV clearly for this kind of automation ; not standard or OOTB solution.

If you want also maybe less automatized, you can either check after a login on the website, the order template and the last order done, and push the most recent by default on the bag (again via a DEV in ReactJS)
