Direct Ship Function on Released Products - Auto PO creation

Hi

I have enabled direct ship on certain released products, all with the same vendor, when I key the lines into a sales order it creates 1 PO per line, is there anyway to group the items together to generate only one PO.

I know I can do this without the direct option enabled, however it would streamline our process if this was possible.

Thanks

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Charles,

When you enter the item line, do not change the delivery type. After entering all the item lines, click the direct delivery in the sales order tab, then select the line and click ok.

    Thanks Mattguo

We currently use that option, however They manner in which our products are setup, the sales taker does not always know the items keyed are for direct delivery, so I was hoping to use this feature

    Direct-Delivery.jpg

This feature when enabled automatically generates the Purchase order when the selected item is keyed, and this is the how we would prefer our setup to be, if we were able to set this to create the purchase order and add to it / group that would be ideal.

    Thanks

    Which version are you using?

In my tested, when i enable the parameter, if item 1 has same vendor as item 2, the two items will be grouped into one purchase order.

    Hi Mattguo

Thanks for looking into this and I must apologize, clearly I must have gotten my settings incorrect, I have now just re-created the scenario and this time its working as expected. Thanks again for taking the time to look into this though.

    Cheers

    Charles
