I would like to know how i can export all data and activities such as notes, emails, documents associated with all the entries. I am using online CRM and all i can see is exports using views but this can take forever so what i am asking is if i can export all the related data into an MTI file? My system is hosted by a company who has given me a SQL backup which doesnt help me. I want to export all the information above to a CSV or MTI file so i can imported it into my new system

Please advise if this is possible and how i can go about this!!

    Hello ChrisMcCabe,

Unfortunately there is no available option to export all the information to a CSV or MTI file through the UI,unless working with views.

I would suggest you work with SDK to manipulate the data and export.

More information: Sample code for activity entities (msdn.microsoft.com/.../gg309494.aspx)

Thank you for using Microsoft Dynamics CRM Communities,

HI Chris, May I ask Which system are you exporting it out to, as there several option for exporting out your data apart from the Entity export function inside of crm,

-XML Data Package, this is intended for exporting to another dynamics crm instance

-Use SSIS with a CRM adapter to export your data to CSV (Kingswaysoft and Cozyroc provide free adapters for this)

-As Giselle Mentioned, use the SDK / API to develop your own Data export function

The Best approach from the above is to use SSIS with Kingswaysoft / Cozyroc crm adapter to get your data out of CRM into a format that will work into your Target system.

I hope this helps you? Kindly Verify :)

    Best Wishes, Raz

    Hi Chris,

If you want to maintain this auto-export flow, from Microsoft Dynamics Online to CSV files, on a recurring basis, you should check out Flatly at flatly.io and see if it meets your needs.  Flatly will store these CSV files in a list of historical copies, or simply refresh the same set of limited files repeatedly, in a cloud storage / drive of your choice.

    Disclaimer:  I work at Flatly.

I suppose Skyvia can solve your issue. It`s a no-coding solution with flexible scheduling and broad mapping features.
