Microsft Dynamics GP Add-in for Microsoft Word

Has anyone had luck installing/using the Microsoft Dynamics GP Add-in for Microsoft Word? This is the tool you have to install to be able to do more than cosmetic modifications to the Word Templates. It is the second item in the Additional Products list. The install works fine but it gets disabled when start Microsoft Word. When I go into Word Options and click to Manage Com Add-Ins I see the Load Status is Disabled because of a runtime error.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 Thanks,
Kevin Jones

    Hi Kevin,

yes I tried installing this product, please check your office version because I remember it will only work with the later versions of office.

    hope this...

I'm running Word 2007 with Service Pack 2 installed on Windows 7. I think I have all the updates installed that I could possibly have installed.

I am having the exact same issue with Office 2010. I have Microsoft Support working on it, but no answer from them as of yet...has anyone had any luck? We have tried:

    1. repairing office

    2. installing word add-in from media

    3. installing PIA

all updates are current. this is on a TS running server 2008 R2.

We are running it no problems on WS 2008 TS for multi-tenant installations, after you install the word addin make sure you download and install the service pack available for it, on customersource/partnersource as its a different file!!!

If you expose the developer tab in Word, does the add-in run properly anyway?
