Account hierarchy

I'm used to SFDC's built in account hierarchy view- where you can quickly see an indented listing of all parent-child relationships of subsidiaries, etc. These are defined by the "Parent Account" field of each Account record.

What is best practice/capability for this in Dynamics CRM?

    Jeff,

In Dynamics CRM you can see the parent and the children. Do get a tree view you will need to use one of the may add-in solutions that will give you that and more.

Ah, thanks! Where do I find Add-ins like this?

Is there something like the AppXchange for the Dynamics CRM community?

    Jeff,

For Microsoft you use Pinpoint - pinpoint.microsoft.com/.../home

    Here are some commercial ones:

    www.finalasp.com/.../microsoftcrmhostingaddonsrelationshipexplorer.html

    www.c360.com/.../relationship-charts-online-360

There is a free one on codeplex - relationshiptree.codeplex.com
