Hi All,
if i am involved in On going project and if they are using Standard TMS. I wanted to know what has to be checked first if Rates are not coming in Rate-route workbench?
Few configurations checked are below-
1. Item is enabled with Advance WHM
2. TMS activated in Delivery terms
few setups checked-
1. Initialize base engine done
2. SO created and confirmed
3. Load planning workbench done
4. when clicking rate route work bench rates are 0
5.Different rate masters created
6. Each rate master has its own rating matadeta and ratebase
7. route plans are available
8. route guides are available
9. Milage engine and Rate engine are available
10.Shipping carriers done
Now, how to map all this information to calculate rates?
As an Example-Vendor -->Shipping carrier connected to -->route guides (as an example)
Item connected to -->site-->WH-->route plans (From and to)-->rating metadata --) break master
how everything is interlinked to complete the setup and calculate the rates?
Can anyone explain more descriptive?
Thanks.
About setting up a transportation mode and method for a shipping carrier, transportation constraints for routes, and a route plan and routing guide for freight transportation, you can refer to the following documents:
Routing setup | Microsoft Docs
About setting up rating and transportation management engines, you can refer to the following documents:
There are 5 basic components in rating: Rating profile, Rate master, Rate base assignment, Rate base, and Break master. A Rate profile has one Rate master. A Rate master can have many Rate base assignments. A Rate Base assignment has one Base rate and the Base rate has one Break master.
Break master – Can be accessed by Modules> Transportation management> Setup> Rating> Break master. This sets the values for rate breaks that are available in the Base rate records.
In the Details fast tab, enter the values desired for rate breaks.
