Hi all,

Have anyone had a requirement of requisition worksheet for multiple companies?

I don't find the feature in BC. It seems like only workaround or customization is required.

Thanks.
I have the same question (0)

You won't be able to manage multiple companies with a requisiton without customization or an add-on of some kind. There are multi-entity add-ons out there such as Binary Stream's MEM and Central Path Multi Entity apps. You would maybe want to look at using a dimension as an alternative in this case or maybe even alternative locations.

It cannot be done in the standard, and I think it also relates to performance issues.
You can submit this idea to Microsoft.

    Hello,
yes, your understanding is correct: in standard Business Central, the Requisition Worksheet / Calculate Plan runs inside the current company and suggests purchase/transfer replenishment for that company’s items/SKUs; it is not a group-wide worksheet that calculates demand and supply across several companies in one run. Standard Intercompany helps create matching sales/purchase documents between companies, and Company Hub helps users navigate/manage multiple companies, but neither gives a true consolidated requisition worksheet. So the usual options are: run planning separately per company, use intercompany documents/transfer logic where relevant, or customize/build an extension if you need one central planner to collect demand from multiple companies and create suggestions/orders back into each company.

You can't do this as standard,  I would also question the feasibility as I'd assume multiple companies would have multiple places of delivery, so combinging orders to one place of delivery wouldn't make sense.

If you have one company purchasing for others, you need to make sure that intercompany sales orders are generated in the purchasing company in order to create the demand.

    Kind Regards
