Email Error - Cannot authenticate the credentials on server smtp.office365.com

We are receiving the following error every 2 months when users try and email from BC W1 20.4. Current SMTP server details have not changed. We apply the M365 setup when using SMTP.
How can we adjust the email account to error every two months ? The current email service the client uses is a shared email account across users. It is a SaaS client.

Hi,

Pls check setting in Office 365 settings of this email id. This is configuration issue in Office 365.

Have you checked the office 365 account for the shared mailbox. Does it demand f.ex. a password change every 60 days or something like that. I have had issues like this earlier because of password policies.
