Send Notification Email for final Approval to Author

I tried to set a notification email for author but not successful. It only sent to final Approver.

I did set:

Because there are many User can create document so I cannot set notification to a specific user. It depends on who creates the document.

    Hi,

    Please open Workflow Notification Setup and check what is setup for Entry Type Approval. Do you want to create Notification of type approval ?

    Yes, it looks fine. If you want to notify sender on sending then try using Notification Entry Type New Record on workflow response

    Hi Haider,

    After set up more for New Record, the email is sent to Author but the Approver.

    Can you help to explain why ?

    Does system only sends the last setting ?

    Hi you are using sender on both responses. Put the flag Notify Sender off and put the user required in third response.

    As per my knowledge better is to use this "Send approval request for the record and create a notification" and put flag Notify sender on. It will do both

    Because the many Users can create the document and send the Approval request so I cannot put a specific User.

    You can try this "Send approval request for the record and create a notification" with Notify Sender flag on as I mentioned. It will notify sender as well as Approver.
